This facility is designed to download a faithful electronic copy of each of the Shark Bay Heralds produced so far. PDF files are a product of Adobe and the ones displayed on this website are the actual copies of of the newspaper that are sent to the printers.

Due to the considerable size of each file, the download time may be up to five minutes given the poor line speed available in Shark Bay. However, the end product is a complete rendition of each newspaper averaging 16 pages.  The  PDF  file may be saved to the readers hard drive for further viewing, this is one  of the choices offered prior to initiation. The files will then open quickly if treated in this manner.

Adobe Reader may not be installed on the readers computer. If this is the case the files will not open. To solve this, Adobe reader may be obtained from this site by clicking the appropriate link located under the list of newspaper downloads. This link connects to the Adobe site and enables a free download to undertaken. Adobe reader is a text reader used commonly in both private and government agencies.
